Event Description:

A Wicked evening with Pete Slosberg!

Join us for an inspiring conversation with Pete Slosberg, founder of Pete's Wicked Ales and Cocoa Pete's Chocolate Adventures, as he shares his experience on building trends in the market from the ground up. As a special treat, guests can challenge their taste buds with a succulent beer and chocolate tasting.

Appetizers and a selection of wine and beer will be provided as you form new relationships and network with professionals from all around the Bay Area. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research.

Our quarterly Lessons from Leaders are the best way to learn, grow and connect with fellow SSU students, alumni and the community. This event is open to all!

About Pete:

A native of Connecticut, Pete earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University before embarking on an executive career with Xerox, ROLM and IBM. In 1979, he attempted to make wine in his kitchen. After several tries, Pete became impatient with the time it took for wine to mature, so he started making beer instead. He borrowed $50,000 from friends and officially opened Pete's Brewing Company in northern California in April, 1986. The fifteen beers created by Pete are now marketed in all 50 states and the United Kingdom.
