Veterans Day Parade and Wreath Laying Ceremony - 2017
Event Description:
Veterans Day Parade and Wreath Laying 2018! This year is the 100th year celebration for American Veterans Day, which was started following the WWI Armistice in 1918.
This event is free and open to the public to honor our veterans from all generations and conflicts. Please join members of Elks Lodge 1108 to honor our veterans. This program is sponsored by the Marin County United Veterans Council, headed by Elks Lodge 1108.
10:00 am: Indoor Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Auditorium
The program continues outdoors on the Avenue of the Flags, in front of the memorials, with a parade, and wreath presentation ceremony. Followed by coffee and doughnuts sponsored by the Elks Lodge.
