Date: November 16, 2017
Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST
Event Description:
  • Does your website do what you expect it to?
  • Is it bringing you new customers? The right customers?
  • Are your images helping your website conversions or hindering them?

Learn how to save time and frustration and create a more effective site once you learn the basic principles of web design. And you do not need a web or technical background to do it!
The first half of the class covers best practices and common errors in website design. The second half includes review and feedback for the websites of attendees, with plenty of Q&A.

This workshop is for small business owners who are developing or maintaining their own website and want to understand the basic principles of effective website design. This is not a technical class nor do we discuss advanced search engine optimization. It does not require any specific background and we will avoid technical terms as much as possible so that everyone can understand.

You will leave with a checklist for website design and a list of free resources you can use to audit your own site.

Instructor Janet Wentworth has a multitude of satisfied clients that had instant results of attracting new customers and projects through their website changes.
