Business Management Speaker Series Takes Inside Look
at Leadership and Consumer Experience May 5

Rohnert Park, California – The School of Business and Economics (SBE) at Sonoma State University (SSU) today announced that Sally Srok, Francis Ford Coppola Winery’s President of Direct to Consumer, will speak on Friday, May 5 at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom at SSU as part of the Sonoma MBA Alumni Forum's Lessons from Leaders Speaker Series. Cost of the event is $10 for students and alumni, and $15 for the general public. Tickets are $20 at the door. The evening features light refreshments and wine from Francis Ford Coppola and Virginia Dare Wineries, and a surprise takeaway gift for all attendees. Proceeds from each quarterly event benefit a different community non-profit organization, with May 5 ticket sales going to the YWCA, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.

"This event is about empowerment in leadership and Sally brings important perspective to what this means both in the workplace and in the world,” Megan Berling, Chair of the Sonoma MBA Alumni Forum said. “Her experience and expertise in creating meaningful exchanges between businesses and customers speak for themselves, and it’s something we can all learn from regardless of our role or organization.”
