Accounting Associate (A/P & A/R) – Temp – Novato - $35-45/hour

Respected nonprofit organization is seeking a temporary Accounting Associate to support their Finance team during a period of increased workload and Sage implementation. This is a great opportunity to work locally while supporting a community-focused organization. Expected assignment length is three months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: Temporary - 3 months +

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

  • Location: Onsite – Novato, CA

  • Pay Rate: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience)

Accounting Associate Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable (A/P) including invoice entry, coding, and vendor payments

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) including billing, cash application, and reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate financial records within Sage accounting software

  • Support the team during and after a recent Sage implementation

  • Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger support

  • Respond to internal and external finance-related inquiries

  • Support the Finance team with ad hoc projects as needed
